Tips through Vipps, made in Norway
donate.chat lets streamers take tips through Vipps and shows them as alerts on stream. It's run by a small Norwegian company and built for Nordic streamers.
- wait, who actually runs donate.chat?
- A small Norwegian company. Org. no. 934 927 230.
- and where does my tip go?
- Straight to the streamer's own Vipps. We never touch it.
Why it exists
Tipping a streamer should be as easy as paying a friend back.
Most people here already have Vipps
In Norway, Vipps is how you pay a friend back. With donate.chat a tip takes two taps in an app viewers already use.
The money never touches us
Tips go from the viewer straight to the streamer's own company Vipps account through Vipps Integrert Betaling. We never hold the money, and we take 0% of it.
Same price for everyone
One plan at 89 kr a month, with everything in it. Every streamer pays the same, whether the channel is brand new or big.
It started as GiveTip
donate.chat used to be called GiveTip. We renamed it and rebuilt the service. Old links still redirect, and subscriptions moved over.
